George Person is a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant with 25 years of active-duty service and extensive experience in leadership, operations, security, and risk management. Since August 2021, he has served as an Operations Manager with the Richland County Recreation Commission, supporting agency operations, safety and security initiatives, and special event planning. His military and civilian experience has shaped a leadership approach centered on accountability, preparedness, teamwork, and service. Outside of work, George enjoys applying his creativity and technical skills through 3D printing and custom wood and acrylic engraving.
